  1. I graduated from b-school four years ago. I was recently laid off from my banking job and want to switch industries. I’m also a mom of a one-year old. Would love your help!

  2. I want to go to school next year and I heard applications are way up this year. How do I stand out?

  3. I want to know how to tell my story effectively and have an edge over the competition. I think the Gold Admissions Program would be SO helpful, but it would be a stretch to purchase it right now because my budget is so tight with application fees and all. I would love to win the free copy. It could change my life!

  4. I am considering making a major career move, with the economy in shambles it’s tough to stand out in an already crowded field. I’d love to bounce my resume off you and discuss how to negotiate the right spot in these times…

  5. I am interested in the VC industry. My background has been with product management, technology development, factory operations, and I am currently in a management program -not an MBA- in Boston. I would like to get some coaching on how to promote myself and emphasize on my extensive background in business and in technology management.

  6. I am considering a new business model that leverages non-traditional partners (farmers, artists and hi-tech professionals) into a synergistic relationship in a renewable energy sector non-profit start-up. Being an engineer by training, I need guidance with this new business model. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

  7. Hi Debra,

I really enjoyed your MBA Navigator presentation today. Your model is simply and compelling. I am at a fork in my career navigation and would really appreciate an opportunity to share my story with you and gain some additional perspective on next steps.

  8. I graduated from B-school 8 years ago. I thought I had found my dream job this year, but it ended up being a bad fit. I should have seen it during the interview process. I want to better understand my SIQs so I can find a job that fits me better.

  9. I enjoyed the seminar today. I’ve been thinking about hiring a life coach to help me sort through the transition in which I find myself. The plan I had 5 years ago (when I had almost graduated from the SDM program) is not longer applicable to my current life. My priorities and goals have changed drastically and I would like help working through my thoughts and ideas.

  10. I have been working for the same company for 26 years and am thinking it may be time for something new. I have 2 advanced degrees but have not really utilized them for advancement. I would love to get some professional help !

  11. I recently started in a role within my current company that is interesting, but really stalls my career progression. Paired with my recent conversion to working-mom, I’m starting to question whether finding the best situation in an environment that doesn’t give me *my* best solution is a good use of my time, talent, and energy. I need to figure out what my current priorities are — and come to terms with them.

  12. I’m in an industry going through major downsizing, which is helping me to realize it’s time to find work that better connects with my passions in life. I see it as an opportunity and am excited by it, but I could use some help in refining my key messages so that employers can see what I can bring to help them. Debra’s services would be a great help to me at this time – thanks!

  13. I am a stay-at-home mom deciding what to do next. Your services would be incredibly helpful to me as I make the tough decisions that I’m facing now that my daughter is about to start kindergarten. Thank you!

  14. Debra:

Thank you for the information. My only comment and I think that the most important idea from numerous experts is one should have and it is imperative to establish their goals and objectives in each area of their lives. Once established, they should be read on a daily basis, and if need be,revised and reviewed on a weekly, and monthly basis. This will lead to success in any field of endeavor if practiced and not allow life to get in the way.
