I remember being amazed at our five-year class reunion (Debra and I were classmates at MIT Sloan) that so many people were already on their third or fourth job (many precipitated by the tech bubble which had just burst).

I had worked for the same company for five years at that time but since have had a number of transitions–some chosen due to geography and wanting a new path and some unplanned due to the recent business downturn.

Would enjoy exchanging ideas with others in career transitions.

My only comment and I think that the most important idea from numerous experts is one should have and it is imperative to establish their goals and objectives in each area of their lives. Once established, they should be read on a daily basis, and if need be,revised and reviewed on a weekly, and monthly basis. This will lead to success in any field of endeavor if practiced and not allow life to get in the way.
